Hot Dog Calendar Contest Rules
Image Guidelines
JPG or GIF format only. Grayscale or Colour (RGB). Minimum size: 8 x 10" or 800 x 600 pixels. - Important: ensure you have a high-resolution version of each image that you submit (uncompressed TIFF or maximum quality JPEG, Grayscale or Colour (RGB), 300 dpi with a minimum final print size of 8 x 10"). Should any of your images be selected as a winning entry, the high-resolution version will be required. Failing to provide a high-resolution version could compromise your win.
All photographers must hold copyright to their submitted images. - Unfortunately, we cannot accept mailed submissions. All submissions are by electronic entry form only.
Fees There are no fees; it is
FREE to enter your "Hot Dog" in this contest!
Deadline ** EXTENDED DEADLINE **All entries will be posted to
fourstateshomepage.com within 5 business days of submission. The contest deadline is 11:59 pm Central Time on December 21, 2008.
How Winners Are Determined 
Our panel of judges will narrow all entries down to the top 24 and then on December 24, 2008, the viewers will begin voting for their favorites. The top 12 Hot Dogs will be announced on January 5, 2009 and featured in our 2009 Hot Dog Calendar. All proceeds from calendar sales will go to benefit the
Joplin Humane Society.

Publication Rights KSN,
KODE, and
fourstateshomepage.com reserve publication rights of the winning and/or honorable mention images for the Hot Dog Calendar 2009 contest.
Copyright and Ownership 
Entrants must own all rights to the works submitted and are solely responsible for acquiring model or property releases, as applicable. As such, contestants hold the publisher and contest sponsors harmless from any breach of copyright in Canada, the USA, and elsewhere and from consequential litigation.
Acceptance of Rules Participation in the contest and submission of photos indicates complete acceptance and understanding of these contest rules.
