Timothy Schooley of Baxter Springs Kansas gets 1 year probation for extorting money. Schooley admitted that he demanded money from former Cherokee County Attorney Michael Goodrich. Schooley threatened to turn Goodrich in to authorities. Goodrich at the time was allegedly accepting money and favors from employees at the Sensations Gentlemen's Club in Galena, Kansas. In return, he was dismissing those employees traffic tickets and other legal costs. Schooley will begin his one year probation immediately. The probation included two months on house arrest and a 1-thousand dollar fine. |
