Shannon currently co-anchors Good Morning Four States, Before that, she anchored the news and weather on the Weekend Edition, Some of her most memorable stories include the May 4th tornado, and the days that followed.

Shannon enjoys stories that are "hands on."  During her reporting, she has graduated from Joplin's Citizen's Police Academy, The Redings Mill  and Neosho Citizen's Fire Academy and during one series, Shannon was  certified as a first responder.

Shannon is a native of Joplin.  She graduated from Joplin High School  in 1995 and then Missouri Southern in 1998. On her days off, she can be found working on her Victorian home (a  constant project) or reading.
