Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @04:43pm CST Front loading washers are very popular because they're efficient and energy saving, but, many consumers say they're also smelly.
Some people are finding mold in their washer -- behind the gasket that keeps the water from leaking out and, in the drawer where the detergent goes. "Based on the anecdotal evidence we have from consumers, this is not limited to one brand or one type of front-loading washing machine. It seems to be a problem with many different models." If you have a front loader, keep the washer's door open to help it dry out. Or, you can buy cleaner specifically made for fighting smelly washers. |
