Reported by: Brad Douglas Monday, Mar 2, 2009 @06:05pm CST A four state governor has been named to help lead up the presidents reform of the health care system. Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius is President Obama's choice for the health and human services secretary. Sebelius will oversee the implementation of President Obama's health care program. It will attempt to cut costs, expand coverage and improve quality for every American. She will also oversee the food and drug administration. Since 9/11 the job has come into focus because of the fear of terrorists attacking our food supply. Sebelius is in her second term as the governor and has visited southeast Kansas numerous time. Sebelius still has to be confirmed by the senate before she gets the job. |
