Reported by: Tiffany Alaniz Wednesday, Jul 11, 2007 @12:00pm CDT This month, we meet two amazing women who share a friendship that has lasted 20 years.
The two enjoy spending time together visiting and working part time at Chico’s in Joplin.
They believe in being each other's buddy in the fight against breast cancer.
Diana Graddy and Sheila Bentlage have been friends for years.
Their friendship started when Sheila reached out to Diana when the Graddy's moved to town.
The two now work part time at Chico's something they love. They meet new people all the time and Sheila describes Diana as sweet and kind to everyone.
During their friendship, the women have realized the importance of breast self exams and reminding each other about doing them monthly.
Sheila says when you care about a friend doing buddy check reminders for each other is a pleasure.
And she says the importance of self exams can't be underestimated.
During their friendship, the women came to love Chico’s and were thrilled when Chico’s opened a store in Joplin.
Working there is something they enjoy together.
Friends who care about each other and have fun together.
