Monday, Apr 23, 2007 @06:52pm CDT As a life-long Chicagoan, I knew from freshman year of high school that journalism was the future I wanted to follow. That meant when it came time to go to college, Mizzou was my school. During my amazing 4 years there I worked as a reporter and anchor at KOMU.
I also spent a semester abroad working for the CBS London bureau, where I focused on entertainment news including interviewing Daniel Craig at the Casino Royale premier and staking out Madonna’s house after she adopted her son. I am now very excited to start my professional career reporting for KSN! I enjoy watching movies and cartoons with my cat Reyna, the color pink, cheering on the Tigers and the Bears, and making great memories with great friends.
I was flipping channels one night and heard a character in an old black and white movie say, “What are dreams if not blue prints for courageous action?” That struck me as profound, and since then has been my favorite quote. I never found out what movie it was though– if you know, or want to know me better, or have an idea for a story for me, I’d love to hear from you at bbowman@ksn16.tv |
