The KSN and KODE television stations have been paying close attention to the wants and needs of the people in the four states. Last summer, fourstateshomepage.com was launched by the pair of stations to give the people in the surrounding areas 24/7 access to news stories, and although that was a great contribution to the communities around the four states, it did not stop there. As people demanded more fourstateshomepage.com supplied the demands with free classifieds, a community calendar,1/2 dinning deals, legal and medical advice, the buddy check program, wedding announcements, and it's expanding everyday.  Fourstateshomepage.com is dedicated to bringing Pittsburg residents relevant news updated as quickly as possible.

My name is Marie Benge, and I am the first student at Pittsburg State to take the internship opportunity offered by the KSN and KODE television stations. This program was developed through PSU to give the people of Pittsburg the latest news quickly as possible. Having a reporter in Pittsburg will help the fourstateshomepage.com web site focus on Pittsburg news and deliver it to the public when it happens. Being the first intern to work with the KSN and KODE television stations, I am dedicated to bring the people of Pittsburg the news they want, when they want it. Not only does this program help all of the people in Pittsburg, it also give the students of PSU an opportunity to expand their knowledge and further that experience after they graduate. I personally think that this is an amazing opportunity for PSU students to get involved with the community and gain work experience for now, and for the future.
