Welcome to the Show ShannonPlay Media
    Friday, June 20, 2008 @9:49am CST
We have three different clocks in the newsroom, each one with a different time. One is the correct time, the other two run fast. Shannon usually goes by one of the clocks that has the incorrect time. Someone changed it, much to Shannon's surprise. And the show starts at 5:30... regardless.

Sometimes a segment may not be ready as quickly as we expect. Combine that with a communication breakdown, and you get this as the end result.

It hard to read a news story when you have to cough. It's even tougher when you have several news stories. But here, Shannon was able to pass the news baton to Alan.

Meet the Crew Part IVPlay Media
    Wednesday, December 12, 2007 @9:57am CST
Sometimes crew members are in such a hurry to get from point A to point B, that they forget something may be going on in-between.

Meet the Crew Part IIIPlay Media
    Tuesday, November 27, 2007 @9:05am CST
For some reason, the crew decided to relax on our interview set during the show and chat with our guest. Alan wanted to show the viewers what the crew was doing. Unfortunately camera operator John was too quick and ducked out of the shot.

Not exactly a blooper, but when you have a cow doing the weather forecast, you have to share it. Enjoy.

Meet the Crew Part IIPlay Media
    Friday, October 26, 2007 @9:57am CST
A crew member will occasionally appear on camera, sometimes intentional, other times not. On this particular morning, cameraman Zach is moving part of our set, just like in Meet the Crew Part I. However, Shannon catches it out of the corner of her eye and battles the laughter.

Just Give Them The AnswerPlay Media
    Tuesday, October 16, 2007 @8:50am CST
Every Tuesday, we give away a gift certificate to Chatter's with a trivia question. And it's been going on for quite some time. On this particular morning, Alan decides to give away something else... the answer to the question. A bit of awkward conversation follows when Alan realizes the answer has slipped out.

    Last Spot?????Play Media

    Reported by: Shannon Bruffett
Sometimes, our guests on GMFS are really interesting, and we're easily distracted. Obviously, Gretchen and Shannon didn't hear the camera guys call "last spot," the cue to get back in the chair and work.

    Nice TiePlay Media
    Thursday, August 30, 2007 @8:57am CST
Usually before a weather forecast, the shot is set up so Alan appears in the correct ratio to the weather graphic. During the chaos of the show, it didn't occur this time, so you get a great close-up of Alan's tie.

Weather Is An Easy JobPlay Media
    Tuesday, July 31, 2007 @9:38am CST
    Reported by: Shannon Bruffett
Gretchen is filling in for Alan, and apparently thinks the job is easy. Of course, she meant the weather is pretty steady, no severe weather, etc. Of course, Shannon NEVER misses an opportunity to jump to conclusions.

    Harry Who?Play Media
    Monday, July 30, 2007 @10:01am CST
Sometimes words don't come out the way they're intended. Alan had trouble with the name Harry Potter. Maybe he was looking at the next story, which involved a urinal that was being auctioned off...

    Slippery ScriptsPlay Media
    Monday, July 30, 2007 @9:54am CST
Holding a microphone in one hand and a script in the other can sometimes be a tricky thing. Shannon demonstrates some grace as a script jumps from her hand.
