NEOSHO, MO---Visitors had the chance to bid on wreaths, trees and centerpieces. It wasn't all about Christmas decorations, there was also a Ford Mustand, Kindle Fire and trip to Cancun up for grabs. All of the money will go into a scholarship fund to help students pay for a higher education.
"Crowder is the best community college in the state of Missouri and it's very affordable. but even with that it's still expensive to go to college and every dollar we raise here goes straight to scholarships for kids and students...we have a lot of non-traditional students also," says Crowder Foundation Board Member Kevin Wilson.
Last year the festival raised more than $58,000 and Wilson expects to raise more this year.
