JOPLIN, MO.---The Rotary Club raised $15,000 during their annual Golf Scramble back in May, and made the donation to the Community Clinic of Joplin. The Community Clinic provides free medical and dental care to those in need. Clinic representatives say the money will go toward paying for patient medications. The Rotary president says they're passionate about helping those who can't afford health insurance.

"This is a function, a scramble we've had for the last 10 years here at the Twin Hills Country Club, and we do this every year to help support the Community Clinic and those who don't Have insurance to get their medical needs," states Shirley Mutz, Rotary President.

The Community Clinic is funded entirely through foundation grants and individual donations.
