WEBB CITY, MO.--- The "Webb City School District Community Breakfast" aims to keep residents informed about the school district. Superintendent Anthony Rosetti gave details about a FEMA grant to build tornado safe rooms and a bond issue on the April ballot. He says this event is important to make sure everyone stays informed about the state of education in their community.

"The tradition has been to invite people in so they can see what our schools are about. They can see who the people are that are involved. It's not through email or through Facebook," said Dr. Anthony Rosetti, Webb City Schools Superintendent. "It's the old fashion way of actually meeting with someone and being able to have some conversation."

School administrators also spoke about plans to increase school safety and a new technology initiative the district is working on.
