Two Webb City Men Arrested for Copper Theft

WEBB CITY, MO.--- Paul Sanchez Pena and Francisco Gallegos, both of Webb City, are charged with theft. Webb City Police Officers pulled them over for speeding yesterday around 8 a.m.

After searching the vehicle, officers found a large amount of copper tubing inside. Investigators say the copper came from 48 train engines belonging to the Missouri Northern Arkansas Railroad. Pena and Gallegos are each being held on $10,000 bond.
