WEBB CITY, MO.---- The Bright Futures Program in Webb City is collecting food for it's Backpack Program. Several businesses have donations boxes set up. They're needing nonperishable items like granola bards, Roman noodles, and canned goods. The students will be out of school for 9 days during the break and they hope to collect enough food to serve 121 kids.

"The need is growing, especially around the holidays. You really find out about a lot of families in needing during the holidays. So the needs increasing this time of year,"

You can drop off food at the Webb City Wal-Mart, the Arvest Bank, Commerce Bank and SMB Bank all in Webb City.
