JOPLIN, MO.--- The Habitat for Humanity dedicated 5 homes at a ribbon cutting ceremony in front of 2 of the completed houses off 26th and Virginia. Tornado victims expressed their gratitude to Habitat for Humanity and MIZZOU volunteers who are responsible for building the homes.
"We represent MIZZOU and the State of Missouri, so when people are in need, we feel like it's important for us to do what we can to help," states Sarah Reeseman, Athletics Director MIZZOU.
These homes were built as part of the Governor's Challenge in partnership with the major sports teams in Missouri, and Kansas Nascar Racing.
