KANSAS--- The Kansas State Department Of Health and Environment has issued new fish consumption advisories. They recommend people avoid eating fish caught in Spring River, Shoal Creek, and Horseshoe Lake in Cherokee County.
The report says some of the fish may have been exposed to toxic waste like lead, mercury, and cadmium, which can pose serious risks to children and fetuses if consumed. For more information, click here.
