MIAMI, OK -- Osborn Drugs is just one of 24 pharmacies offering the test until June.

It's part of the Center for Disease Control's HIV testing pilot program.

The goal is to provide fast and accurate testing to people in a convenient and accessible way.

It's part of an effort to increase the awareness of HIV.

"By providing this service, if someone were to come aware, it's actually proven that once someone is aware they take steps to decree risk and transmitting it to others," says Osborn Drugs Pharmacist Jonathan Hansen.

The test takes about 30 minutes.

A pharmacist will swab your upper and lower lips to get a sample.

If you'd like to get tested, you can call Osborn Drugs to set up an appointment.
