Brad's Beat: MO Loves Dogs

JOPLIN, MO--- Show-Me-State residents own more dogs than most other states. A new report from the American Veterinary Medical Association shows that Missouri ranks fourth in the nation for the number of dog owners and 46% percent of households own a dog in Missouri. The lowest states are on the east coast.

Shelter managers at the Joplin Humane Society say Missourians just open up their hearts to our furry friends.

Arkansas came in first in the report.
