CARTHAGE, MO.--- 5th and 6th graders attended a "Read In" at Carthage Middle School tonight. The theme of the event was solving the mystery of who kidnapped the Carthage Tiger.

Teachers dressesd up as characters from the board game "Clue." Students went from station to station asking questions and listening to clues. The goal of the event is to get kids to read more while having fun.

"It's a night to spend with our children to promote reading and to have a good time together as a school," says Meghan Frischenmey, Literacy Coach.

Over 300 students attended the "Read In" along with their parents. This is one of 4 activity nights hosted at the school.
