CARL JUNCTION, MO.--- Stan Elmore has been on medical leave with the Carl Junction Intermediate School since October. He has battled 2 brain tumors and the medical bills are adding up.
A benefit will be held at the Carl Junction High School commons area on February 23rd from 4:30 to 10 in the evening. Organizers say it's the least they can do for this amazing music teacher.
"We've been trying to help him and support his family. So, we're gonna have this benefit and to help the family out and its' also to celebrate the 20 years he's dedicated to students in Webb City and Carl Junction," said Gretchen Demasters, Intermediate School Principal.
Dinner will be provided and 4 bands will be playing Bluegrass music. Donations are encouraged.
