GROVE, OK.--- Around 2,000 people showed up in Grove this morning for the Bass Master Classic Tournament. Local businesses set up booths at the city's civic center in hopes of bringing those visitors to the shops. More than 30 merchants were giving out information and door prizes. Grove's mayor says the Bass Master Classic is helping put the city on the map.
"We're seeing people from Louisiana, Missouri, all over Oklahoma. So, they're coming in," says Marty Follis, Grove Mayor.
Mayor Follis says he expects to see a long lasting economic boost from the Bass Master Classic Tournament, which runs through Sunday.
