FORT SCOTT, KS.--- James Daniel Seek is facing 3 felony charges of resisting arrest and 2 charges of assault on a law enforcement officer for an incident that happened on Friday. Fort Scott Police say Seek was involved in a domestic assault and fled the scene by car. He was eventually caught by Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies in Nevada.

They say he ran several red lights, forced a police officer to drive into oncoming traffic, and attempted to hit a deputy with his vehicle. The chase ended when Seek got out of his car at the Nevada Inn and a deputy held him down at gunpoint. Seek is being held in Vernon County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
