MIAMI, OK.--- Staci Barker used to be superstitious until today. She's decided to walk down the aisle on Friday the 13th and she's taking a leap of faith.

"He's my everything, he's my best friend. My friend for life. We've been together for a long time, it's about time," states Staci.

The love of her life is Matt Barker. The 2 met at Ace Hardware in Parson's and he didn't notice her at first.

"Just another customer," says Matt Barker.

The number 13 has a special meaning for the couple.

"We've been together 13 years, my birthday is on the 13th of January," says Staci.

The 2 knew after the 1st date that they were meant for each other.

"Definitely the first date was the best. Had me hook line and sinker," says Matt.

You have to wonder after dating for 13 years, what took him so long to propose.

"It's one of those things you're not looking forward to, but you just do it. Thanks you're making it more convincing," says Matt.

They just decided to tie the knot today at Laverne's Wedding Chapel in Miami and there's a reason they picked it.

"The courthouse is across the street. Let's get done, get the heck out of town," says Matt.

"I love you babe," says Staci.
