The kids were given an Apple Laptop and accessories in return for a signature and a name after a short overview of the rules. Joplin High School Administrators say because this is the 2nd year, the process of distributing these computers is going a lot smoother. Program Administrators say technology specialist have worked all summer to make major changes to the software as well.

"We have revamped like you would not believe, we have had more time. This summer we installed several more programs and advanced those programs, we have advanced those programs we see what they are on when they are at home," states Traci House, JHS Administrator.

This year the school district purchased laptop carrying cases for all laptops being distributed throughout the district.
