SOYFUL CHILI
(Kraft's Foods)
Ingredients:
2 medium bell peppers (red, yellow or green), coarsely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped (about cup)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons oil
1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed, drained
1 can (15 oz.) chili beans in sauce
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 package (12 oz.) frozen meatless ground burger (Bocca or Morning Star)
1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies, drained
1 tablespoon chili powder
teaspoon cumin
Instructions.
Cook peppers, onion & garlic in oil in large saucepan on medium high heat 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in ground burger; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Could also heat in a crock-pot.)
Makes 8 servings, 1 cup each
