PSU Apple Pie and Dessert Competition

PITTSBURG, KS.--- Desert was a main course on the menu at Pittsurg State University today. 20 people put their best dessert forward at the school's annual "Apple Pie and Desert Competition." The sweet treats were broken into two categories, traditional pie, and other kinds of desserts.
The winner will be announced at the schools convocation which is tomorrow at 3 p.m. Once the winners are announced, the recipes for the best desserts will be posted on the schools website. The event is part of Apple Days 2013, an annual tradition on the Pittsburg State campus.
