Giftco Incorporated is recalling about 24,000 gold pine cone candle sets

Giftco Incorporated is recalling about 24,000 gold pine cone candle sets. The exterior paint and coating can ignite and catch fire, igniting nearby combustibles. The CPSC has received one report of a flare-up with damage contained to the candle. No injuries have been reported.
This recall involves a set of three candles that sit on a gold plate. The item numbers are 1240 and R1240. The item number is located on the product's packaging.
They were sold at Christmas stores, school fundraisers, mail order, and specialty stores nationwide from September 2001 through December 2006 for between $4 and $25.
Consumers should immediately stop using the candles and contact Giftco for a full refund.
