The following kids’ crafts are from Michaels’ new Birthday Party Program. Our new projects can be changed by theme, color and complexity to fit the age range and interest of the party children. You can use our classroom at the store or take the projects home and have your child’s party there. Ask an associate for details about our parties. We have a lot of fun crafts geared to fit and budget and interest.
Kids’ Bulletin Boards
Flower Power Bulletin Board
Supplies:
Bulletin Board 11” x 17”
Scrap booking paper flowers
Stick-on rhinestones
Punch Out Alpha Stax or other chipboard alphabet
Clear push pins
Terrifically Tacky Tape – ½”
Ribbon of Choice
Scissors
Ruler
Craft Glue
Instructions:
Place tape around entire border.
Cut desired ribbon to fit border.
Pull off backing from tape and attach ribbon.
Glue flowers, buttons, and letters as desired on top of ribbon.
Apply rhinestones to the tops of thumb tacks.
Additional letters can be tacked onto cork to create a message.
Sports Fan Bulletin Board

Supplies:
Bulletin Board 11” x 17”
12” x “18” Foam Sheet – red
12” x 18” Foam Sheet – white
Foam stickers – All Star
Mini spring pins
Elmer’s Paint Pen – Red medium
Elmer’s Paint Pen – White medium
Blue painter’s tape ¾” or masking tape
Craft paint – green
3/8” ribbon of choice
Assorted Push Pins
Foam brushes
Scissors
Ruler
Pencil
Craft Glue
Paper towels
Paper Plate
Instructions:
Tape off a rectangle in the middle of cork board
Brush on green paint. Remove tape and let dry.
Cut desired ribbon to fit border. Glue down corners only.
Attach foam stickers to the corners.
Use pattern to trace and cut out helmet pieces from foam. Glue pieces together and adhere to board as shown.
use paint pens to color tops of spring pins and to embellish helmet and field.
Glue spring pins to the bottom edge of board.
