JASPER COUNTY, MO.--- Jasper County deputies and citizens honored Archie Dunn today. They cut cake and mingled with the outgoing sheriff. Dunn served 9 and a half years with the Jasper County Sheriff's Office.

He lost his reelection campaign back in August to Randee Kaiser. Today, he reflected on his career and said he had a lot of support during his service.

"People come out and tell you they appreciate the job you've done and you get to say goodbye to them. That's what it's all about," states Archie Dunn, Outgoing Sheriff.

Dunn plans to spend his time with his wife, 3 kids, and 7 grandchildren.
