Joplin Man Placed On Probation For Robbery

JOPLIN, MO.--- Keith Walton is placed on probation for 5 years after he was found guilty of robbery in Jasper County Court today. The incident happened in July of 2012. Walton, along with Caleb Baker and Shawn Simmons, robbed a pizza delivery man, then fled to a home on 18th and Wall.

Officers say the group made off with the pizzas and a small amount of cash. Baker and Simmons have both been sentenced for the crime. Baker was sentenced to 10 years in a institutional treatment center. Simmons was sentenced to 5 years probation.
