“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"
J.K. Rowling
(HB – 759 pages - $34.99)

The finale a world has been waiting for – almost 10 years in the making – and a book industry publishing event that has never been seen.
Harry Potter, the “boy wizard,” otherwise called “the chosen one” is supposed to be finishing his seventh and final year at Hogwarts School of Wizardry. However, he has other plans on his agenda.
He and his best friends, Ron and Hermonine, set out on a quest to find certain items that will help Harry in what he figures will be his final and ultimate battle to bring down the “dark lord”, otherwise known as “he-who-shall-not-be-mentioned,” who, over the years has made Harry’s life less than tolerable and generally reigned terror over the wizard and muggle communities.
Questions that have left millions and millions wondering for years will be answered. Lives will be lost and lives will be saved. There are happy endings and not so happy endings.
The story is well done, although much information is crammed into one final book.
The outcome is satisfying and puts to rest once and for all the one burning question that has haunted fans for years: will Harry or Lord Voldemor be the final victor?
The Deathly Hallows thus ends a saga that has captivated a world and one that has never been seen or anticipated in, well, ever.
