080532007-11-06-1194357771.jpgTarget is recalling about 40,000 Home Patio Sets.

The chair can collapse when weight is applied to the front end of the arm rests, posing a fall hazard to consumers. Target has received 35 reports of chairs collapsing.

This recall involves six-piece home patio sets sold exclusively at Target. The set consists of a table, an umbrella, and four chairs. The chairs and the umbrella have a black aluminum frame covered with a beige fabric.

They were sold at Target stores nationwide and on its Web site from November 2006 through July 2007 for about $130.

Consumers should stop using the recalled patio sets immediately and return the entire six-piece set to any Target store for a full refund.

For additional information, contact Target at (800) 440-0680 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's Web site at www.target.com
