Here's the recipe:
3 cups milk
cup cooking oil or bacon drippings
2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups flour
Combine milk, eggs, sugar, and salt. Stir in flour and baking powder. Lightly grease a griddle with shortening and heat to medium high. Turn when batter bubbles.
Makes about 48 pancakes. This recipe divides easily.
