JOPLIN, MO.--- "I just love to do it." "Why do you love it so much?" "I don't know," states Kathleen Cupp

Kathleen Cupp. She's 85 years young, a vibrant woman with a strong passion for volunteering.

"I just love people. I love to do things for others," states Cupp.

For 15 years she's helped serve a warm Thanksgiving meal to hundreds of people at First Untied Methodist Church in Joplin.

"It's a blessing. Really, it is a blessing," states Cupp.

Making others feel special is Cupp's goal every holiday season. While Cupp serves the rolls, Lexy Lafarge is making sure each guest has everything they need.

"It feels good to know that people who aren't fortunate enough to get what they need, that we can help them," states Lexy Lafarge, Volunteer, 12 years old.

For Lafarge, volunteering runs in the family.

"My sisters are here, my aunt and cousins are here, my mom is here," states Lafarge.

Lexy say volunteering gives them a chance to bond.

"I think it's fun because we all get to come and be a part of it  and we all get to help everybody," states Lafarge.

"I'm just glad to be here," states Cupp.
