Four Charged with Assault on Law Enforcement

WEBB CITY, MO--- Sunday, Jan. 20th just before 4:00 a.m., officers were called to a disturbance of several people yelling and fighting close to the 500 block of West Broadway in Webb City. One of the subjects fled into a nearby residence as officers arrived on scene.

The first officer on scene pursued the subject to the residence where that officer was assaulted by additional individuals inside the residence. Another officer who was assisting the first officer was also assaulted.

Both officers were treated for their injuries at a local hospital and released. The five suspects were treated or refused medical attention on scene.

Dalton Humphrey, 18, of Webb City, Douglas Humphrey, 50, of Webb City, Maximillian Humphrey, 24, of Webb City, and a 15-year-old juvenile were all arrested and charged with class A Felony Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. Another adult male was taken into custody for Interfering with an Arrest.
