Dr. Randolph L. Lais:
Dr. Randy Lais has a reputation as someone who makes his patients feel special and puts them at ease with his understanding, patience, and commitment to listen to their desires and concerns from the very start. He has a relaxed and pleasant disposition and a desire to do the absolute best for each patient he serves. He has a wonderful chair side manner and patients are comforted when hearing him hum to the soothing music while he works. Dr. Lais truly cares about his patients and their outcomes. He has a well-trained staff of caring individuals that work together to provide a pleasant experience for their patients. He is excited about his work and is a perfectionist with an attention to detail in order to achieve the exciting outcomes. With over 25 years of knowledge and experience, he continues to be passionate about perfecting his craft and helping others.
After having a very successful practice in Missouri for over two decades, Dr. Lais moved his practice to Northwest Arkansas to be closer to his new home in Rogers and to work more closely with the Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy. This is a group of like minded professionals who are dedicated to providing comprehensive dentistry on highest levels. Dr. Lais has been working with AIDT for over 12 years and enjoys sharing his knowledge of dentistry with community groups.
He and his wife Jackie, a professional photographer, have lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1996. In his spare time Dr. Lais enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Lais grew up in a small town in Southwest Missouri. After high school he attended Missouri Southern State College in Joplin where he earned his BS in Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 1978 Dr. Lais graduated from UMKC-School of Dentistry with Distinction. He was additionally honored by selection into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), a National Dental Honor Society that promotes and recognizes scholarship and character among students of dentistry.
Dr. Lais was then on active duty for three years in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps where he had the opportunity to serve rotation under board certified specialists in the areas of oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and prosthodontics. This training and experience gave him a wealth of hands on experience in many areas of dentistry and was invaluable when he started private practice. Even after leaving the Navy and opening his own private practice in Joplin, Missouri, Dr. Lais continued to study comprehensive care and has become a life long student of his profession.
