Two Men Lead Arkansas Authorities on Chase Into Missouri

Two men are under arrest in Missouri after leading police on a chase that began in Rogers, Ark.

According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, Eric Watts refused to pull over when a sheriff's deputy attempted to stop him near the intersection of Interstate 540 and Pleasant Grove Rd. on Wednesday and a pursuit began.

Deputies chased Watts and his passenger, Michael Kubicek, north through Rogers into Bentonville, Bella Vista, and eventually ending up in Pineville, MO after a Bella Vista Police spike strip disabled two of Watt's tires.There were no injuries in the pursuit and no other vehicles were damaged.

Watts and Kubicek were placed in the McDonald County, MO Jail on multiple traffic and drug charges.

Benton County will issue warrants for Watts for the felony traffic violations he committed in Arkansas.

Bella Vista Police, Arkansas State Police, Missouri State Police, Pineville Marshalls, and the McDonald County Sheriff's Office all assisted in the arrests.
