School Adopts Drug Testing Policy

PITTSBURG, KS -- The USD 250 school board approved drug testing at Pittsburg High School.

Students in extra-curricular activities will be required to sign a substance abuse consent form.

An outside agency will randomly test 10 students each month.

Students who tests positive will be removed from extra-curriculars for 21 days.

The goal of the drug testing is to help students who test positive get the proper help they need through counseling.
