Memorial Day Golf

By: Ryan Marsh
Updated: May 28, 2012
Hundreds of people are deciding to stay away from the water this weekend, and hit the links instead.

Workers at Shifferdecker Golf Course in Joplin say the weekend is usually pretty steady with golfers but Monday is completely booked.

They also say it's nice to see all of the golfers coming back to the course after such a difficult year.

They estimate that more than 500 people will play the course this Memorial day weekend.
