JOPLIN, MO--- Howie and Bubba from 105.3 New Life Radio took to the airways to help Joplin Police find the Sunny Jim bandits.

Sunny Jim Parks storage and restroom building was destroyed by a fire on July 6th, just months after being rebuilt following the tornado.

The radio talent offered up a $105 reward for anyone with a tip that would lead to an arrest. The tip helped confirm detectives suspicions of two male suspects who are currently being held in the juvenile detention center.

"We can use it as a public service announcement.  If you see it report it." says Howie.

"It was amazing that it ended up in some type of action that allows us to put this behind us and move forward," says Bubba.

New Life Radio is now partnering with Heartland Crimestoppers.  They welcome and encourage all tips about local crimes.
