JOPLIN, MO.---- After helping raise these walls, paint them, and even plant flowers outside, Deborah Morris can finally call this place home. Hers is one of 2 families whose homes were destroyed in the tornado to receive the keys to their brand new houses on Kentucky Avenue today. In 2 separate dedication ceremonies, community leaders celebrated with the families, held a prayer, and presented each family with a bible. Deborah says this moment was well worth the wait, and the work.

"I cant even find the words to describe how excited we are about today, it's been a fun summer working on our house and seeing it come together is just the icing on the cake," states Deborah Morris, Home Owner.

Deborah adds she's thrilled she and her family have a place of their own to spend the holidays this year.
