JOPLIN, MO.--- Jenteal Engberg of Joplin didn't want gifts for her 13th birthday party today, she wanted her guests to bring food items to donate. The food and any money raised from their concession stand will be donated to help local families through 'Mission Joplin'. Janteal says she's excited to be helping others, and celebrating her birthday at the same time.

"I don't need those things. People need food, they don't want food, they actually really do need it to stay alive," says Jenteal Engberg, Birthday Girl.

Jenteal is a 7th grader at Joplin South Middle School.
