QUAPAW, OK.--- The Downstream Casino Resort grand opening adds a 7 story tower and 152 rooms upscale hotel rooms. They've also added another bar and an indoor pool. The expansion is sure to add to the major impact Downstream is already having on the area's economy.

According to a recent report, Downstream Casino has generated more than $58 million in workers salaries and provided healthcare for thousands over the last 5 years. Downstream officials say it's important to the region that everyone shares in their success.

"We try really hard to keep the money local, work with the local vendors, and we're excited that it is that much," states John Berrey, Chairman, Downstream Development.

Downstream also gave more than $500,000 last year to local nonprofit groups across the Four States.
