JOPLIN, MO.--- The Work Force Investment Board hiring and resource fair is set for a week from today at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. More than 50 employers have already signed up. 

Those include, Empire District Electric, Arvest Bank, Crowder College, and Indigo Sky Casino. Business representatives say it's a one-stop shopping event for people looking to hire.

"It's the foot traffic you're going to get you can see anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 to 3,000 people at one location," states Troy Roland, W.I.B. Business Rep. 

W.I.B. leaders say they will accept interested employers through Monday. Job Fest will be held Tuesday, January 29th from 2 until 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. For more information, click here.
