Joplin, MO- Royal Heights Elementary students in Joplin are learning about the luck of the Irish.

Robin Slater and his wife Dearbhail are from Ireland.

They visit different schools across the country for six weeks at a time teaching students about Irish culture.

Dearbhail  Is an accomplished cellist and has performed for President Clinton and Obama.

They have been visiting schools for the past 11 years and they say it takes a bit of time to get used to our American accents.

Joplin is the last stop on their six week tour. Before they head back to Ireland they're going to make a stop in Las Vegas to get another culture shock.
