The American Red Cross of Southwest Missouri is responding to Sunday`s tornadoes with shelters at Webb City High School, Memorial Hall in Lamar, and Liberal High School in Liberal. Direct assistance has already been delivered in some areas, including clothing and medication.
In addition, the Red Cross has provided over 200 meals and canteen supplies for emergency personnel. The chapter will continue to provide meals and support in conjunction with the Salvation Army of Joplin.
If you would like to help the victims affected by the tornadoes, you may make a donation to your local Red Cross chapter.
The Southwest Missouri Chapter of the Red Cross is a partner agency of the Carthage Area United Way and the United Way of Southwest Missouri.
