Red Cross Truck Stolen in Springfield

By: KOLR10 NEWS
Updated: January 16, 2013
SPRINGFIELD, MO--- The local Red Cross says someone stole one of its vehicles Tuesday morning.

Nigel Holderby with the American Red Cross Southern Missouri Region says the large, silver 4-door 2010 Chevy Silverado pickup was taken from the area of Sunshine and Oak Grove.

"It's possible that they didn't stay in Springfield very long," says Holderby. "Springfield Police are looking for it, but any help would be appreciated."

Holderby says it shouldn't be difficult to spot the stolen vehicle since it has American Red Cross decals on the front doors and rear bumper.

See the above photo for an example of the make and model.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the Springfield Police Department at (417) 864-1810.
