NEVADA, MO.--- The Nevada City Council approved the purchase of 3 used cars from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Fleet Sales Division. The Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors came with a total price tag of nearly $45,000.

The police chief says this will allow them to rotate newer cars into their fleet and replace older ones. It also benefits their take home program allowing officers to take cars home and get to a scene quicker when needed.
