"It had to be basically cleaned up," says Crawford County Habitat for Humanity board president Christine Schindler. "Cabinets had to be built and put it. New appliances obviously were needed. Flooring and a lot of paint."
"Kind of a new start for our family and our kids," says Charles Bass. "Getting them into a safe home, a comfortable home, and it's really a tremendous blessing."
Habitat for Humanity volunteers are already working on their next project. They hope to begin building a Pittsburg home in May for a mother and her two children.
