CARTHAGE, MO.--- A Carthage dental office has a brand new way to work with teeth, and it doesn't include a drill! Herrington Dental is now offering Waterlase MD.

It replaces traditional dental tools, with a combination of water spray and a laser, allowing dentists to perform fillings with little or no anesthetic. Dr. Herrington says he is excited to have the new piece of equipment in place. "

This laser opens up a whole new pathway because it allows us to cut into teeth, so we can now remove decay with the laser," said Dr. William Herrington, Herrington Dental, DDS.

35 patients have already used the dental laser in place of traditional drilling.
